Parkwood has completed literally hundreds of Tenant Improvement, Alteration, and Renovation projects over the past 15 years.

Some renovations include extensive seismic upgrading together with architectural elements, for example, the Bank of Montreal at 10th and Granville in Vancouver. This 1.5 Million dollar project included extensive seismic reinforcement including soil anchors & structural bracing, and was completed while the branch maintained full operations.

Another interesting challenge included pile driving inside an operating bank branch for new vault installation.

Difficult project cutting the Queen Elizabeth Theatre away from Playhouse Theatre. Acoustic separation created by cutting 3″ gap through entire cast in place concrete structure including all footings up through the roof c/w structural steel beams & columns to support load, seismic upgrade and extensive modifications to electrical & mechanical service spanning the 3″ gap.Project started June 2006 with first show in Playhouse October 22nd, 2006.
